Hello

I fell in love with moss as a child, observing it along country roads, in forests, and even in the cracks of the sidewalk. When I see moss, my mind is transported to peaceful forests, cool caves and sheltered crags. Moss is an ancient lifeform, both fragile and enduring. It grows in areas which are considered almost uninhabitable…in remote forests, on mountains, and in cities. Wherever moss grows it brings vibrance and beauty. It is all at once revitalizing and comforting. I bring this ancient lifeform into my work in order share nature’s vitality and wonder with others. My preserved moss art is meant to carry the viewer’s mind to places that are at once ancient and new through a lush and timeless medium.
